WINSTON-SALEM, NC, January 18, 2008 - AHDRA headquarters has announced that Rush Racing Products will return as a class and event title sponsor in 2008.
Rush Racing Products came on board with AHDRA early in 2007 as the Rush Pro Gas class sponsor. They will maintain that sponsorship in 2008 and have stepped up their role as class sponsor by putting $7,250 up for the Rush Pro Gas National Championship purse at season's end. That's more than $5,000 in additional prize money compared to the previous championship postings. The amount will be divided among the top five national points finishers.
Rush Racing Products will also take over as the title sponsor at one of AHDRA's largest events of the series in Bristol, TN. "The Rush Thunder in the Valley Nationals Presented by Smith Brothers Harley-Davidson" will take place on August 9th and 10th at Bristol Dragway.
