"NO ORDINARY POTATOES"…THESE SPUDS ARE READY FOR RACING!

CAL PERCY BRINGS NONPAREIL POTATO COMPANY BACK FOR 2ND SEASON AND INTRODUCES INDIAN MOTORCYCLES OF BLACKFOOT AS JUNIOR DRAGSTER SPONSOR

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., January 21, 2003-AHDRA has announced the return of Nonpareil as class sponsor of the Super Sport class and welcomed Indian Motorcycles of Blackfoot as the 2003 Junior-Junior class sponsor.

Both sponsorships were made possible by veteran AHDRA racer, Cal Percy of Blackfoot, ID. Percy has been racing with AHDRA for 15 years and says he is happy with the positive direction the sanction is headed.

In 2002 Percy introduced Nonpareil to the sport of Harley drag racing and the #1 fresh potato shipper in the U.S. will return to AHDRA in 2003 for more Super Sport racing. With the slogan, "No ordinary potatoes", they are indeed a fit for the high thrill action on the track. Nonpareil Super Sport is reserved for street legal or non -street legal V-Twin cylinder motorcycles with any frame configurations. Participants must have a 10.30 E.T. dial-in index.





There is more good news from Cal Percy that will surely keep him busy in 2003, with the opening of his brand new shop, Indian Motorcycles of Blackfoot. Percy will have help from long time friend and fellow racer, Roger Bickmore, who will manage the shop.

Percy has generously lent his support to the youngsters of AHDRA by naming Indian Motorcycles of Blackfoot as the 2003 Junior class sponsor. The Indian Motorcycle of Blackfoot Junior class includes rider's ages 8-10 and is reserved for street legal or non-street legal single or twin cylinder motorcycles with any frame configurations. Rider and motorcycle must conform to each other and races are limited to 1/8th mile distance. Riders are limited to a 12.90 E.T. or slower. The AHDRA Junior-Senior class includes riders ages 11-16 and is restricted to an 8.90 E.T.

The AHDRA offers 15 classes of competition including the 200mph Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harleys, Modified gas bikes, street bikes and more. The 2003 AHDRA National point's series kicks off March 4th & 5th at Gainesville Raceway, Gainesville, FL.
