AHDRA ADDS NITRO-POWERED ACTION TO ARIZONA BIKE WEEK

Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives Arizona Bike Week Nationals presented by Hacienda Harley-Davidson Makes 2nd Appearance at Firebird International Raceway, April 6th & 7th.

Winston-Salem. N.C., March 11, 2002 - The AHDRA announces a 2nd appearance at Firebird International Raceway in conjunction with Arizona Bike Week.

The Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives Arizona Bike Week Nationals presented by Hacienda Harley-Davidson will kick off at Hacienda Harley-Davidson on Friday, April 5, when the official AHDRA Kick-Start party gets underway at 6pm. The dealership will offer live entertainment, raffles, prizes, Miss Arizona Bike Week contest and AHDRA race bike displays.

Saturday, April 6, Hacienda Harley-Davidson opens registration at 8am for the Iron Horse Memorial ride to benefit the Maricopa County Sheriff's Office Memorial Fund. The charity ride, which provides support for families of fallen officers will leave from Hacienda Harley-Davidson and end at Firebird International Raceway for the Rivera Engineering-Primo Belt Drives Arizona Bike Week Nationals presented by Hacienda Harley-Davidson and Steelhorse Trifecta Party.

Indian Motorcycle of Phoenix will present the Steelhorse Saloon Trifecta Party on site at Firebird International Raceway and will include a Custom Bike Show, live entertainment and the Southwest Arm Wrestling Championships presented by Budweiser. Admission is $5 per person.

Other rides joining in the activities at Firebird Int'l Raceway include the "Angel Children Charities" ride hosted by Harley-Davidson/Buell of Tucson and the Grand Canyon Harley-Davidson Charity Ride which start at Chosa's Harley-Davidson in Chandler, AZ.

Ride participants will experience the thrill of 200 mph nitro action when arriving at Firebird International Raceway. Qualifying gets underway Saturday, April 6th at 10:30am and eliminations begin Sunday at 12:30pm.

Admission for the weekend is $40 for the weekend and $25 for single day admission. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate, and Children under 12 are admitted free.
