If you ever wanted to see what your Harley could do on the racetrack, this is your opportunity. The Sportsman Racers Association of the All Harley Drag Racing Association and Harley Davidson of Lynchburg, Virginia are sponsoring

"DRAGRACING 101"

You will attend a drag racing school put on by experienced racers from the AHDRA, you will get to compete in a AHDRA National Event in the SYN3 ET class, you will get a number plate for your bike, and you will find out how fast your bike really is. The ET class is open to all Harley models from the Buell Blast up to a full custom or a all out Harley Drag Bike. The ET staggered start equalizes the performance of the bikes and a Buell Blast can beat an all out drag bike (it has happened). You are eligible for this program if you have never raced at a AHDRA sponsored event.

What it costs: $65 before 5/15/2004 or $80 at gate w/ Dragracing 101 entry form
What you get: 2 Day pass to Commerce racetrack (value $40)
Entry & tech for the SYN3 ET race (value $40)
Special one race membership in AHDRA (value $25, full year $50)
AHDRA number plate for your bike (value $5)
AHDRA drag racing rulebook (value $5)
Dragracing 101 School w/ practice runs (value priceless)
3 qualifying (practice) passes on Saturday (value priceless)
1 race on Sunday (more if you win)
Drawing for $500 in prizes (DR101 participants only)
Schedule: Friday May 28 2-10PM sign-in, register & tech bike
Saturday May 29 8AM-9AM - Drag Racing School
9AM-5PM - 3 qualifying/practice passes
6PM - drawing & SRA informal party
Sunday May 30 9AM - 1st round SYN3 ET race
