WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., May 12, 2007 - The All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) is returning to Commerce, GA on May 26th and 27th for high-powered competition at Atlanta Dragway's quarter mile strip-often referred to as "Georgia's House of Speed".
The annual Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson Southern Nationals will host a huge field of Harley drag racers with 16 classes of competition including the 200mph Nitro Harleys, Modified gas bikes, Street bikes and more!
In addition to racing action, there will be vendors, manufacturers and live entertainment Saturday night with JB Walker's Cheap Whiskey Band.
The weekend kicks off at the AHDRA Nitro party hosted by Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson on Thursday, May 24th, 4-7pm with race bikes, food and more.
Racing at Atlanta Dragway gets underway Saturday with qualifying at 9:00am.
On Sunday the Sportsman eliminations begin at 9:00am and the Pros take the track at 12:30pm. Spectator gates open both days at 8:00am.
Weekend camping is available at Atlanta Dragway starting on Friday. Campsites are $25 and include hot showers.
Admission to the Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson Southern Nationals (includes pit-access) is $30 for a single day or $50 for the weekend. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount and Children 11 and under are admitted free. Discount tickets are available at Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson and Granite Mountain Harley-Davidson.
