AHDRA BRINGS 2-WHEEL THUNDER TO ATLANTA DRAGWAY MAY 29TH & 30TH

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., May 18, 2004-AHDRA continues the excitement of the 2004 season in the 2nd East Coast outing of the year at the upcoming Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson Southern Nationals presented by Drag Specialties May 29th and 30th at Atlanta Dragway.

Huge fields of racers are expected in the 14 classes of competition offered up by AHDRA which includes 200 mile-per-hour Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harleys, Modified gas bikes, Pro Stock bikes, V-Rods and more.

Fans can enjoy a full weekend of action with camping available on site at Atlanta Dragway along with live entertainment by J. B. Walker & The Cheap Whiskey Band Saturday night.

Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson will host the pre-race festivities at the AHDRA Nitro party, Friday, May 28th, 4:00-7:00pm. The dealership is located at 2060 Ross Rd. in Lilburn, Ga.

Saturday, gates open at Atlanta Dragway at 7:00am, with qualifying at 9:00am. On Sunday, gates open at 8:00am, with sportsman eliminations at 9:00am, followed by the Pro eliminations at 12:30pm.

Admission to the Stone Mountain Harley-Davidson Southern Nationals presented by Drag Specialties is $40 for weekend passes and $25 for single-day passes. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate and children 11 and under are admitted free. AHDRA also offers free admission for active or reserve military personnel with proper identification. Spectator camping is available for $25. All ticket prices include pit access.

ESPN2's Inside Drag Racing will be on site covering the quarter-mile action and broadcast dates will be announced in the upcoming weeks.
