RECORDS EXPECTED TO FALL AT ROEDER HARLEY-DAVIDSON BUCKEYE NATIONALS, JUNE 7TH AND 8TH, NORWALK RACEWAY PARK.

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, June 2, 2003 - AHDRA competitors are headed to Norwalk Raceway Park in Norwalk, Ohio, this weekend - and fans can expect fierce competition along with record-setting action on the quarter-mile strip.

With mid seventy-degree temperatures forecasted, track conditions are expected to be picture-perfect for a huge show of horsepower and speed. No one knows the outcome of a top-notch track better than Goshen, Ohio's Steve Stordeur, who set the Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harley E.T. National record (6.389) at Norwalk Raceway Park in 2001. Although not yet confirmed, Stordeur and the Mancuso Harley-Davidson team are expected to return this weekend to defend the record against the largest field of Nitro Harley riders ever to compete in Norwalk.

Ohio favorite Chris Streeter is definitely on the roster for the Roeder Harley-Davidson Buckeye Nationals. Leading the points chase in the JIMS Pro Fuel class, Streeter says his team is after the championship and ready for the tight competition this weekend.

Roeder Harley-Davidson will start the excitement early when they host the official AHDRA Kick Start party on Friday at their brand-new Sandusky location. 2002 Norwalk Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harley winner Mark "The Hammer" Cox will be on hand for autographs and a sneak peek at the Bojangles Top Fuel ride. The fun begins at 5:00 p.m. with food, live entertainment, and lots more.

Racing gets under way on Saturday at Norwalk Raceway Park, with gates opening at 7:00 a.m. and qualifying at 9:00 a.m. On Sunday, gates open at 8:00 a.m., with Sportsman eliminations at 9:00 a.m. and Pro eliminations at 12:30 p.m.
