WINSTON-SALEM, NC, June 15, 2007 - The All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) continues the battle for championship titles June 23rd and 24th at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA.
A large contingent of competitors is expected at this year's Kresto Pacific Nationals presented by Destination and Downtown and Harley-Davidson dealers.
The pre-race rush on registration indicates a huge weekend of racing is ahead as riders from the east and west meet to compete for the coveted championship titles in 16 classes of competition.
The Championship standings are closer that ever at the mid-season mark and will ultimately bring fierce competition to Pacific Raceways.
In addition to the powerful show on the quarter-mile strip, fans and racers alike will be a part of a heartfelt fundraiser marking it's 12-year anniversary.
On Sunday, June 24th, motorcycle riders from all over the Northwest will participate in Children's Ride 12. The ride benefits uncompensated care and diabetes research at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. The previous nine rides have raised over $800,000 for Children's Hospital.
Nearly 1000 riders have already signed up for the ride procession that will depart from Quest Field and arrive at Pacific Raceways. Celebrity bike builder, Paul Yaffe, will once again escort the ride.
