AHDRA HEADS WEST FOR LOADS OF RACING AND THE RETURN OF CHILDREN'S HOSPITAL FUNDRAISER
WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., June 15, 2006 - The All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) continues the battle for championship titles June 24th & 25th at Pacific Raceways in Kent, WA.
A large contingent of competitors is expected at this year's Kresto Pacific Nationals presented by Destination, Downtown and Eastside Harley-Davidson dealers.
The pre-race rush on registration indicates a huge weekend of racing is ahead as riders from the east and west meet to compete for the coveted championship titles in 16 classes of competition.
In addition to the powerful show on the quarter- mile strip, fans and racers alike will be a part of a heartfelt fundraiser marking it's 11-year anniversary.
On Sunday, June 25, motorcycle riders from all over the Northwest will participate in Children's Ride 11. The ride benefits uncompensated care and diabetes research at Children's Hospital and Regional Medical Center. The previous nine rides have raised over $800,000 for Children's Hospital.
Nearly 1000 riders have already signed up for the ride procession that will depart from Quest Field and arrive at Pacific Raceways. Celebrity bike builder, Paul Yaffe, will once again escort the ride.
Riders will arrive and enjoy lunch; loads of vendors and of course the thrills of Harley drag racing.
AHDRA is extremely proud to be associated with this worthy cause.
