AHDRA FIRES UP THE ACTION IN JULY AT MARYLAND INTERNATIONAL RACEWAY FOR THE S & S CYCLE MID-ATLANTIC NATIONALS PRESENTED BY ALL AMERICAN HARLEY-DAVIDSON AND HARLEY-DAVIDSON OF FREDERICK

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, JULY 11, 2003 - AHDRA is headed for Maryland International Raceway, July 19th and 20th, for the fastest Nitro-Harley action on earth at the S & S Cycle Mid-Atlantic Nationals, presented by All American Harley-Davidson and Harley-Davidson of Frederick.

Fans will see tire-smoking, fire-breathing, two-hundred-mile-per-hour Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harleys conquer the quarter mile strip in six seconds along with modified gas bikes, pro stock, street bikes, and more as the top guns in the sport compete for over $50,000 in cash and prizes.

Spectator gates open both days at 8:00 a.m. On Saturday, qualifying begins at 10:00 a.m., and Sportsman eliminations begin Sunday at 9:00 a.m., followed by Pro eliminations at 12:00 noon.

Admission is $40 for the weekend and $25 for a single-day pass. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate with a valid H.O.G. card. Children under 12 are admitted free.

Note to AHDRA Racers: Test and Tune will be held for by Maryland International Raceway on Friday, July 18th 9:00am-5:00pm. The charge is $100.00 per bike. The test and tune session is being conducted by Maryland International Raceway and interested participants should contact the track at 301-884-9833.

AHDRA participants will then be directed outside of the gates following test and tune. Gates will open for the AHDRA event on Saturday, July 19th at 7:00am. Qualifying begins at 10:00am.
