In addition to racing, there will be plenty of activities at the event that will benefit the March of Dimes campaign, including live music with the Smyle Band, autograph sessions with Custom Bike Builder, Kendall Johnson, GoDaddy.com racer, Valerie Thompson, plenty of vendors, and more.
Carolina's Full Throttle Magazine will stage their annual Ride-In Bike Show at the event with trophy awards for the winners provided by Hayes Jewelers of Winston-Salem, NC.
Motorcycle enthusiasts can start the day by joining the Bikers for Babies Ride procession that will depart from Curly's Harley-Davidson, in Winston-Salem, NC, at 11:00 a.m. and arrive at Farmington Motorsports Park at 12noon. (Registration begins at 9:00am) The fee for participating in the ride procession is $30 for the rider plus a $10 fee for a passenger. The ride includes breakfast and a "Blessing of the Bikes" at the launch site, and lunch and admission at Farmington Motorsports Park.
The gates at Farmington Motorsports Park will open Sunday at 8:00 a.m., with racing competition getting under way at 1:00 p.m.
Between competition rounds the dragstrip will open up for fun and grudge runs for spectators for $5 donations to the March of Dimes. Riders will be required to have full covered shoes, a Snell-approved helmet, and gloves.
Spectator admission to Farmington Motorsports Park is $20. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount. Fifty percent of proceeds will be donated to the March of Dimes. Children 11 and under are admitted free. AHDRA also offers free admission for active and reserve military personnel.
