AHDRA HEADS TO WOODBURN DRAGSTRIP FOR THE TEAM LATUS MOTORS HARLEY-DAVIDSON NORTHWEST NATIONALS, AUGUST 28th and 29th

WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., August 23, 2004 - The countdown to the big finish is under way as AHDRA heads to Woodburn, Oregon this weekend for the first of the remaining four events of the 2004 Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts Championship series.

Riders from the U.S. and Canada are expected to compete at Woodburn Dragstrip in 14 classes of competition that includes the 200mph Screamin' Eagle Nitro Harleys.

AHDRA is pleased to welcome Latus Motors Harley-Davidson back as title sponsor. The dealership adds plenty of excitement to those attending the Oregon event.

Race fans can meet the racers of AHDRA when Team Latus Motors Harley-Davidson hosts the AHDRA Kickstart Party on Friday, AUGUST 27th, 4:00-7:00 p.m., at the dealership, which is located on 870 E. Berkeley Street in Gladstone, OR.

Racing gets under way at Woodburn Dragstrip on Saturday, with qualifying at 9:00 a.m. On Sunday eliminations begin at 12:30 p.m. Gates open both days at 8:00 a.m.

Admission to the Team Latus Motors Harley-Davidson Northwest Nationals is $40 for the weekend and $25 for a single-day pass. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate and children 11 and under are admitted free.
