SATURDAY NIGHT QUALIFYING, VENDORS, BIKE SHOW, FIREWORKS AND MORE ADD EXCITEMENT FOR DELMARVA BIKE WEEK FANS

Winston-Salem, NC, August 28, 2002-The AHDRA has announced a "Nitro Night of Fire" at the upcoming Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts Delaware Nitro Nationals presented by Harley-Davidson of Seaford, September 14th & 15th.

The AHDRA is making a first appearance at U.S. 13 Dragway in Delmar, Delaware in conjunction with Delmarva Bike Week. Track owner, Charlie Cathell says the track hosts regular Saturday night programs and area fans are accustomed to a late evening venue in the area. Therefore, AHDRA president, Craig Tharpe decided to bring the fans a show to remember by hosting AHDRA's first Nitro Night of Fire, with Saturday night qualifying, followed by a fireworks show presented by Cingular Wireless.

Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts and Harley-Davidson of Seaford have teamed with the AHDRA to bring the show to Delaware. Bill Bennett of H-D of Seaford played a major role in bringing the AHDRA to the area in conjunction with the Delmarva Bike Week where fans will experience the thrill of 200mph nitro action, vendors, a Bike show, fireworks and more!

Harley-Davidson of Seaford will kick off the weekend on Friday, September 13th with the official AHDRA Kick Start party. Fans can meet the stars of AHDRA including Tak Shigematsu of Japan, Ronnie Fensick and the entire H-D of Seaford team. The party starts at 5pm.

Gates open Saturday at 1pm with qualifying at 4:00pm, followed by fireworks at 9pm. Gates open Sunday at 8am with eliminations at 12:30pm.

Sunday features a ride-in Bike Show with 5 trophy classes. All entries should be in by 2pm for judging at 3pm.

Admission to the Screamin' Eagle Delaware Nitro Nationals presented by Harley-Davidson of Seaford is $35 for the weekend, $20 on Saturday and $25 on Sunday. Children under 12 are free and H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate. Spectator camping is available for $25.
