AHDRA 2003 NATIONAL POINTS SERIES CONTINUES AT THE JOKER MACHINE INDY NATIONALS, SEPTEMBER 20TH AND 21ST, INDIANAPOLIS RACEWAY PARK
September 15, 2003-AHDRA racers will heat up the competition at Indianapolis Raceway Park (I.R.P.) this weekend at the Joker Machine Indy Nationals as the battle for Championship titles draws closer.
National Championship's are on the line in several of the fourteen classes of competition that includes three nitro classes, modified gas bikes, pro stock, street bikes and more. The fans are guaranteed plenty of 200 mile-per-hour, six-second ground pounding action on the quarter mile strip at I.R.P.
AHDRA is pleased to have full support from Geoff Arnold and the staff of Joker Machine located in Azusa, CA for this inaugural event at the famed facility in Indianapolis, IN. Arnold, General Manager at Joker Machine, enlisted assistance from various media sources in the Indy market and has put forth great promotional efforts towards the upcoming event.
Arnold will have his own Joker Machine Pro Modified bike on display Wednesday, September 17th at Peppers II Night Club located at 299 State Road, Greenwood, IN. The popular local establishment will host a "Bike Night" that will include a Ride-In Bike Show, live music and ticket giveaways to the Joker Machine Indy Nationals. The film crew from Indy television show, "Steel Horse" will be on hand to film the excitement and plug the racing action at I.R.P. The fun gets underway at Peppers II at 6:00pm.
The cameras from ESPN2's Inside Drag Racing will be on hand at I.R.P. to chat with Geoff Arnold and catch the competition on the track and in the pits at the Joker Machine Indy Nationals.
Racing gets underway on Saturday, September 20th with qualifying at 9:00am. Eliminations begin Sunday with Sportsman at 9:00am and Pro eliminations are set for 12noon. Gates open both days at 8:00am.
Admission to the Joker Machine Indy Nationals is $40 for the weekend and $25 for single day passes. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount at the gate and children under 12 are admitted free.
