Pingel Enterprises will stage the first "ET Race of Champions" in conjunction with AHDRA's upcoming Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts Nationals at Rockingham Dragway.

The 'ET Race of Champions" field will consist of national points winners from AHDRA's 2006 Syn3 ET class.

The round-robin style contest will take place on Saturday following regular qualifying sessions with a winner-take-all purse of $2,500.

AHDRA President, Craig Tharpe says he is happy to have Pingel, an elite contingency sponsor OF AHDRA, participate in the "ET Race of Champions".

"ET racing is consistently one of the most competitive classes offered in AHDRA racing", Tharpe stated. "This is another way to recognize those who participate in this form of racing".

The Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts Nationals Presented by Drag Specialties will be held at Rockingham Dragway on October 14th and 15th.
