THE SCREAMIN' EAGLE LAS VEGAS HIGH STAKES SHOOTOUT RETURNS FOR 7TH YEAR

WINSTON-SALEM, NC, October 24, 2007 — It's the largest purse in history paid to Harley-Davidson sportsman racers and the Screamin' Eagle Las Vegas High Stakes Shootout is back for the 7th consecutive year at The Strip-Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

"Who doesn't want the chance at that kind of money", says AHDRA President, Craig Tharpe. "It's a great opportunity for anyone, (professional or novice racers) to put their Harley on the track and who knows- you could walk away with a lot of cash", he added.

The Screamin' Eagle Las Vegas High Stakes Shootout awards $12,000 to the winner and a generous $3,000 to the runner-up. It happens in conjunction with the Rush Las Vegas Nationals presented by Barnett Clutches, November 16th -18th at The Strip-Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

The Shootout begins on Friday, November 16th at 5:00pm. Competitors will be allowed one practice pass and eliminations will follow narrowing the field to the lucky sixteen.

On Saturday, November 17th at 1:00pm, the final sixteen contestants will battle it out to the finish for the hefty cash prize.

The Screamin' Eagle Las Vegas High Stakes Shootout is open to professional and novice racers and participants must have a current AHDRA membership. Any Harley-Davidson that meets AHDRA technical and safety requirements is eligible. You must have a Harley-Davidson VIN # on the frame or engine case. No delay boxes allowed. Gas bikes only. 5/10 full tree.

Entry fee is $75 on or before October 31st by calling 336-924-2095 or online at www.ahdra.com. After the October 31st deadline, participants must register on site at The Strip-Las Vegas Motor Speedway and the fee is $125.

Entry fee includes a commemorative number plate, a Screamin' Eagle limited edition High Stakes Shootout T-shirt and a chance to win a complimentary membership and entry fees for AHDRA's 2008 season.
