WINSTON-SALEM, N.C., October 30th, 2006 - The excitement is building rapidly as All Harley Drag Racing Association (AHDRA) headquarters prepares for the largest event of the year at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on November 10th through the 12th.

It's the big finish to a colossal season for racers, sponsors, and the many loyal fans who supported AHDRA'S 2006 Screamin' Eagle Performance Parts Championship Series.

The championship standings are closer than ever and the coveted titles will be decided at The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway.

AHDRA offers 15 classes of competition including the fire breathing, nitro methane burning Nitro Harleys that blaze the ¼ mile at over 220mph in just six seconds.

There is a monster load of activities happening this year to celebrate the season finale.

Activities kick off on Thursday, November 9th, from 4:00-7:00 p.m. at Las Vegas Harley-Davidson on South Eastern Avenue. The Las Vegas Harley-Davidson Nitro party will feature race bike displays, manufacturer displays, celebrity bike builders, a burnout contest, the AHDRA Miss Las Vegas contest, and loads of fun to start this weekend of racing excitement.

On Friday, November 10th, the Screamin' Eagle High Stakes Shootout returns to The Strip with $15,000 cash up for grabs. The Shootout is open to both professional and novice Harley-Davidson racers. The Shootout will begin on Friday evening at 6:00pm. Get details and register.

On Saturday, November 11th, the action hits The Strip at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on with AHDRA qualifying at 9:00 a.m.

Also on Saturday, AHDRA will welcome the Discovery Channel's Biker Build-Off Series to The Strip. Gard Hollinger (of L.A. County Choprods, one of the best in the business) is going head-to-head against Chopsmith's Jason Hart out of Gasoline Alley in Indianapolis. The builders will battle it out on the track before the bikes are moved to the voting area where the fans attending will choose the winner!

On Sunday, AHDRA eliminations begin for Sportsman classes at 9:00 a.m and Pro eliminations are set to begin at 12:30p.m.

Gates open on Saturday at 7:00 a.m. and on Sunday at 8:00 a.m.

Admission is $40 for the weekend and $25 for single-day passes. Children 11 and under are admitted free; there is also free admission for active and reserve military personnel. H.O.G. members receive a $5 discount.
